Exams in both practical and theory are available to students once they reach a certain level of musical ability. Once we feel the student is at an appropriate level to start preparing for exams, this is discussed with the student and / or Parent / Caregiver.
Exams are not a requirement, however is suggested for suitable students to help them maintain a steady learning regime, and progress to the next level. They also provide a great feeling of self satisfaction and often increases student determination to succeed in music.
We are very proud of the outstanding success rate and high results that have been received from Hallmark Music Studio students in both theory and practical exams.
Exams are offered through the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) who are well recognised throughout Australia for their syllabus.
