Consultant - Violin and Theory
Emma is a violinist in her second year studying a Bachelor of Music - Classical Performance at the Elder Conservatorium under the direction of Elizabeth Layton. She began violin at the age of 9 and fostered this love for music through the Brighton Secondary School special interest music program, leading the symphony orchestra and string quartet for two years, mentoring the junior orchestra and receiving the Head of Music award and prizes in solo performance, ensemble performance and musicianship. She has performed in the Adelaide Youth Orchestra for two years and now performs with the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, and has worked with violinists including Lachlan Bramble and Dale Barltrop in masterclasses.
